As an Aviation Administrator, you'll be one of the first points of contact for RAAus members and play an important role in keeping our day-to-day administration running smoothly. You don't need to be an aviation expert. What matters most is that you're organised, accurate, comfortable working with databases and systems, and genuinely enjoy helping our members.
Key responsibilities
- Answering phone and email enquiries in a professional and friendly manner
- Assisting RAAus members with general enquiries and administrative matters
- Updating member and aircraft information in our database
- Processing applications, registrations, changes of ownership and other documentation
- Processing payments and maintaining accurate records
- Following up with members when additional information or documentation is required
- Assisting our Flight Operations, Airworthiness and Maintenance teams
- Helping with incoming correspondence and general office administration
- Making sure information in our systems is accurate and up to date
About you
- Previous administration or member service experience
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Robust data entry and computer skills
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- Confident and professional phone and email communication skills
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- A positive, helpful and member-focused attitude
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a small team
- A willingness to learn about recreational aviation and RAAus
- Experience or an interest in aviation would be an advantage, but it is not essential
