The Opportunity
Both positions will be involved throughout the tender process, from initial review and quantity take-offs through to pricing, methodology development, subcontractor engagement and final tender submission.

You will work closely with estimating, engineering and project delivery teams to develop competitive tenders that reflect practical construction methodologies and accurately account for project risks.

The opportunities would suit experienced estimators with structures exposure, as well as commercially minded Project Engineers looking to transition into estimating and pre-contracts.

The Role
Depending on your level of experience, you will:

- Prepare detailed estimates and tender submissions for civil and structural projects
- Complete quantity take-offs and detailed cost build-ups
- Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation
- Develop construction methodologies and project staging
- Obtain and assess subcontractor and supplier quotations
- Identify commercial and construction risks throughout the tender process
- Assist with tender clarifications,



negotiations and submissions
- Work closely with operational teams to ensure pricing reflects practical project delivery
- Support project handovers following successful tenders
- Contribute to improving estimating systems and processes
- For senior candidates, provide guidance across tender strategy and support less experienced team members

About You
To succeed, you will bring:

- Previous estimating experience within civil construction or infrastructure
- Strong exposure to FRP, reinforced concrete or structural works
- Good understanding of construction methodologies and project delivery
- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and technical documentation
- Strong numerical and commercial capability
- Experience obtaining and assessing subcontractor and supplier pricing
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A practical, hands-on approach to estimating
- Exposure to Expert Estimation would be highly regarded
