Do you have a passion for working with livestock and well trained working dogs? Our client is needing a capable Livestock Hand to join their team on their mixed farming operation outside of Wagga Wagga, NSW. They run a large scale dryland cropping venture and several thousand head of merino and crossbred ewes. This role is predominantly to work on the sheep side of the business, but there will be some involvement in the cropping side when needed.

Key Responsibilities

- Solid sheep skills – mustering using your own well trained working dogs
- General animal husbandry – drafting, lambing, marking, crutching, shearing, drafting and drenching
- Property maintenance skills – checking, repairing and installing fencing and water infrastructure

Key Qualities:

- Clean and tidy habits
- Be open to instruction and have a proactive approach to work




- Honest and reliable
- Tractor experience highly regarded
- Truck Licence very beneficial
