Role Description The Logistics Scheduler – Energy Division (Fuel & LNG) is a full time, on-site role based in Perth, WA. This position is responsible for planning and scheduling daily fuel and LNG transport activities, coordinating deliveries to meet customer demand and regulatory requirements. Key tasks include managing transport orders, optimizing routes and fleet utilisation, monitoring load planning and timelines, and adjusting schedules in response to changing priorities or operational issues.
The role works closely with drivers, operations staff, and customers to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient movement of energy products, including accurate documentation and timely communication.
The Logistics Scheduler also supports continuous improvement in logistics processes, data accuracy, and service levels within the Energy Division.
Qualifications
- Strong planning capabilities, including skills in Demand Planning and Production Planning for fuel and LNG transport operations.
- Demonstrated Analytical Skills for interpreting logistics data, monitoring performance, and making informed scheduling decisions.
- Experience in Business Process Improvement, with the ability to refine transport workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
- Knowledge of Supply Chain Management principles, preferably within energy, fuel, or bulk transport environments.
- Relevant experience in logistics scheduling, transport coordination, or operations within a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with scheduling systems, transport management software, and standard office applications.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with drivers, clients, and internal teams.
- Understanding of safety, compliance, and regulatory requirements related to fuel and LNG transport; prior exposure to dangerous goods or energy logistics is an advantage.
- Organised, detail-focused, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy under time constraints.
- Formal training or qualifications in logistics, supply chain, business, or a related field are beneficial but not mandatory.
