About The Role
We’re looking for a dedicated Machine Operator to join our production team. In this hands‑on role, you’ll help ensure safe, compliant, and efficient food manufacturing by following strict safety, quality, hygiene, and food‑handling standards.
You’ll operate and set up production machinery while completing accurate documentation and using digital systems for data entry.
This position also supports training of new staff,
contributes to continuous improvement initiatives, and helps maintain a clean, organised, and well‑stocked workspace.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Operate, set up, and monitor production machinery (Flow wrapper experience is essential) to ensure protected, efficient, and compliant food manufacturing
- Follow all safety, GMP, hygiene, and food‑handling procedures while maintaining a clean and organised workspace
- Identify and remove defective products/materials and recognise signs of machine malfunction
- Complete accurate production documentation and use electronic devices for data entry, retrieval, and basic data manipulation
- Work collaboratively to meet production targets, support continuous improvement initiatives, and follow direction from the Team Lead
- Train Level 2 & 3 operators and new employees in approved tasks while managing stock within the allocated workspace
About You We are looking for a safety‑focused, detail‑oriented team player who thrives in a fast‑paced, hands‑on production environment. You’re confident operating machinery including a Flow wrapper machine, completing documentation with accuracy, and using digital systems to keep production running smoothly. You take pride in maintaining a clean workspace, supporting your team, and contributing ideas that improve efficiency and quality. You’re reliable, resourceful,
and always ready to learn and grow.
You Will Have
- Experience with Flow Wrapper machine
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Intermediate machine operation skills, including setup and basic troubleshooting
- Ability to use electronic devices for accurate data entry and documentation
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and sound communication and numeracy skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team, follow instructions, and support training of others
- Full Australian working rights
