Roto Mould Operator | Afternoon Shift | Ongoing Casual with Full-Time Chance

Our client is a well-established Australian manufacturer specialising in rotationally moulded polyethylene products. We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Roto Mould Operator to join their production team on a permanent afternoon shift.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure an ongoing casual position with the view to transitioning to permanent full-time employment after approximately three months, subject to performance and attendance.

About the Role

As a Roto Mould Operator, you'll be responsible for producing high-quality polyethylene water tanks and related products while maintaining strict safety and quality standards.

This position is for afternoon shift only: 3:00pm – 11:00pm.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare moulds and load the correct quantity of polyethylene material.
- Operate rotational moulding machinery through heating, rotation and cooling cycles.
- Safely remove finished products from moulds.
- Trim and finish moulded products to specification.
- Install fittings, lids and associated components.
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure products meet company standards.
- Operate forklifts safely to move materials, moulds and finished products.
- Maintain accurate production records and report any equipment or quality issues.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment.

About You To be considered for this role, you will have:

- Previous experience in a manufacturing, production or factory environment.
- A current Forklift Licence (essential).
- Experience operating forklifts safely in an industrial environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and confidence working with machinery.
- A commitment to workplace health and safety.

- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Availability to work afternoon shift, Monday to Friday, 3:00pm – 11:00pm.

Training & Shift Requirements

Training will be completed on the day shift 7:00am – 3:00pm to ensure you're fully supported while learning the processes and equipment.

Once training has been successfully completed, you will transition to the afternoon shift: 3:00pm – 11:00pm.

Please note: Availability to complete initial training on day shift and then work permanently on afternoon shift is essential.
