Secondary Music Teacher Part-time Fixed Term

Coolum Beach Christian College (CBCC) is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Secondary Music Teacher to join our team for a partime (.7 FTE) fixed term contract during Term 4 2026.

- Reporting to the Head of Secondary, this role will:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality music lessons to Secondary students.
- Plan, prepare, and assess learning experiences aligned with the Australian Curriculum.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom workplace that encourages student participation and growth.
- Support students in developing their musical skills, creativity, and appreciation of music.




- Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the ongoing development of the Music program.
- Participate in College activities and events as required.

- Experience teaching Music within a Secondary setting.
- Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- A commitment to professional growth and collaboration.
- An active Christian faith and a willingness to support the Christian ethos and mission of the College.

Essential Requirements

- Current Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration.
- Relevant teaching qualifications.
- Ability to uphold and support the Christian values and mission of Coolum Beach Christian College.
