Positions Available: Retail Butcher & Wholesale Butcher
Employment Type: Full-Time - Minimum $80,000 + super per year.

Operating across two locations — our retail store and wholesale facility — we’ve built a reputation for premium quality and exceptional service. We're now expanding and looking for skilled and qualified butchers to join our dedicated team. Attractive salaries are on offer for the right candidates.

The Roles

Retail Butcher

- Cutting and preparing meats for display and pre-pack

- Delivering top-quality customer service

- Breaking down pork and lamb carcasses

- General butchering duties: mincing, sausage making, value-adding, etc.

- Daily cleaning and hygiene maintenance

- Roster: 4-day & 5-day rosters available, including one weekend day





Wholesale Butcher

- Portion control and order-based cutting

- Carcass breakdown and trimming (pork focus)

- Slicing and dicing primals

- Daily cleaning and hygiene maintenance

- Roster: 4 x 9-10-hour shifts during the week (4am start) plus 7–8-hour Saturday shift (3am start)

Skills & Experience

- Formal Butcher Qualification (minimum requirement)

- Solid understanding of general butchering practices

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting

- Adaptability to align with Cotton Tree Meats’ butchering style
