Are you an experienced finance professional ready to step into an influential site leadership role? Our client is a well-established and reputable Australian agribusiness, offering a genuine opportunity to help shape financial and operational decision-making across a large-scale operation.

The Role

Reporting directly to the General Manager, you’ll be a key member of the site leadership team and provide the financial reporting, commercial insights and advice that support important business and operational decisions. You’ll manage a small accounting team while working closely with external auditors and leaders across the site.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Developing business plans, forecasts and financial performance measures
- Analysing manufacturing processes to identify the best financial outcomes
- Reviewing and negotiating key contracts to minimise costs across the business
- Completing month-end closing procedures and daily,



weekly and monthly reporting
- Managing, supervising and developing the Finance & Accounting team
- Liaising with external auditors on quarterly, interim and annual audits
- Ensuring compliance with tax and statutory reporting requirements

About You

- Postgraduate qualification in Finance, Management or equivalent experience (essential)
- CA, CPA or equivalent qualification, or currently working towards one (essential)
- Robust technical accounting and financial reporting skills
- High level of competency in Excel, word processing and database management
- Strong commercial acumen and a data-informed approach to decision‑making
- Experience within an agribusiness or manufacturing environment is highly regarded but not essential
