Fabrication Support Operator

Job Role:
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Fabrication Support Operator to expand our talented workshop team.

You will be working with our team in the production of mowing & slashing equipment, as well as doing general factory and yardwork support.

Job Responsibilities:

- Cutting and kitting steel plates and components in time for production

- Processing materials ready for fabrication, including cutting and folding of steel parts.

- Operation of production machinery, as necessary.

- Forklifting to designated areas.

- Show ability to adhere to site safety requirements.

Hard Skills:

- Previous experience operating equipment in manufacturing workshops. e.g. bandsaws and folders

- Forklift and Heavy Rigid license beneficial

- Sheet metal skills also an advantage

Soft Skills:

- Proactive thinking

- Able to work efficiently with minimal supervision as well as in a team

- A reasonable level of agility

- Taking pride in work output & attention to detail

- A mechanical aptitude

- Self-driven, punctual, have a good work ethic and a positive attitude
