This role is to enforce absolute data integrity ensuring every reported figure is traceable, verified,

and correct while building and leading the expert team to sustain it.

Main Duties

- Own the report register: every report the division produces, its consumer, its frequency, its cost in hours, and the single agreed source for each figure.
- Design and agree the data access model with Risk and Compliance: a masked, read-only reporting layer; access granted per role, logged and reviewable. This is the first deliverable, because the function cannot operate without it and today nobody is empowered to say yes.
- Own the measurement layer for the transformation — workload, exception volumes, automation effect — and defend those figures when they are challenged.
- Own the development plan for the internal engineer and the analysts. Knowledge transfer milestones are part of this role’s objectives, not an aspiration.
- Consolidate regulatory reporting production progressively, in agreement with Finance and Compliance, starting with a register of which return is produced by whom from what source.

Skill/Requirements
- 5+ years in banking data, reporting or analytics, of which at least 2 owning a reporting or data team’s output having produced the figures personally, not only supervised them.
- Robust SQL on Oracle or SQL Server: be able to write and review production queries without assistance.
- Proven experience introducing BI or reporting capability where none existed, on-premise,



and specifically detailing what failed technically or culturally during the initial rollout, and how you adapted.
- Understands regulatory reporting in a supervised institution — any regulator; NBC specifics can be learned.
- Be able to tell a senior stakeholder that a published figure is wrong, and hold the position.
- Working Python and ML literacy: be able to review a model’s logic, challenge its output, and own the register of models in production — what each one decides, on what data, and when it was last validated.
- Desirable: experience running JasperReports Server or a comparable on-premise reporting platform.
