PRIMARY OBJECTIVE

Provide leadership and management of the Water Asset Strategy and Risk Team, ensuring the development and implementation of Water Services’

asset management system and capital replacement program, delivering best practice strategic asset management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES The “WHAT” to be delivered

- Lead, manage, coordinate and develop the Water Asset Strategy and Risk Team to achieve Power and Water's strategic objectives.
- Provide leadership in the development, implementation and continual improvement of Water Services' asset management system, ensuring

alignment with strategic, financial, risk and operational objectives.
- Lead the development and implementation of:

o The Strategic Asset Management Plan o Asset Class Management Plans o Asset engineering standards, drawings and product approvals.
- Develop and implement methodologies, aligned with direction from the Enterprise Strategic Asset Management function, for:

o Asset condition assessment o Asset criticality assessment o Asset risk profiling o Whole-of-life asset planning and costing o Levels of service o Asset renewal investment prioritisation o Performance reporting and benchmarking.
- Lead the strategic development, optimisation and review of water and sewerage replacement capital and maintenance programs, balancing

cost,



performance and risk through a whole-of-life approach.
- Maintain effective oversight of asset risk, performance and investment planning to support regulatory compliance, business objectives and

long-term service outcomes.
- Identify and improve asset information requirements, systems and governance practices that support effective asset performance, risk and

financial decision making.
- Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, regulators, customers and industry representatives to support

successful asset management outcomes.
- Make a positive contribution to Water Services through innovation, staff development, constructive leadership and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with Power and Water's safety, environmental, risk management and governance requirements.
