About the role TRS Staffing is currently searching for a Materials Controller to join our esteemed clients team based on site. This position is based on a 2/1 FIFO roster from Perth.

Duties and responsibilities - Receive, inspect, and unload incoming materials, ensuring correct quantity and quality

- Maintain accurate inventory records and resolve any discrepancies or shortages
- Manage storage areas, ensuring materials are stored correctly and kept organised




- Coordinate with construction teams to ensure materials are issued in line with schedule
- Monitor material status, including deliveries, shortages, and alignment with purchase orders
- Handle material movements, returns, and damaged or deficient items in line with procedures Skills and experience required - Minimum 5 years' experience in material control or construction, mining, or heavy industry
- Solid understanding of inventory management systems and material tracking processes
- Ability to interpret purchase orders, delivery dockets, and material documentation
- High attention to detail with strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills with the ability to coordinate across site, logistics, and procurement teams
