This is a fully remote, versatile contract role built for mathematicians who want to do meaningful, intellectually engaging work on their own schedule.

What You'll Do

- Develop, solve, and review advanced mathematical problems with real-world relevance and complexity
- Apply your expertise in algebra, calculus, statistics, discrete mathematics, or related areas to design challenging, well-structured problem statements
- Evaluate AI-generated mathematical reasoning for correctness, rigor, and depth
- Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and domain experts to strengthen AI model capabilities
- Ensure mathematical clarity, precision, and depth across all deliverables
- Work independently on task-based assignments — fully on your own schedule

Who You Are





- Master's or PhD in Mathematics or a closely related field
- Deep expertise in one or more of: algebra, calculus, statistics, or discrete mathematics
- Proficient in Python, MATLAB, or Mathematica for research or technical problem-solving
- Exceptionally detail-oriented with a rigorous, methodical approach to mathematical work
- Strong written communicator — you can explain complex ideas with clarity and precision
- Fluent in English

Nice to Have

- Prior experience with data annotation, evaluation systems, or AI training workflows
- Background in academic research, technical writing, or curriculum development
- Experience designing or grading advanced mathematical assessments
- Familiarity with AI tools or large language model evaluation
