You will be responsible for general heavy haulage and transport work throughout the Newman and wider Pilbara region, returning to Newman each night. This is Newman-based work with no overnight runs.
Key responsibilities
- MC truck driving and general transport operations
- Loading, securing and unloading equipment and freight
- Completing pre-starts and daily vehicle checks
- Maintaining accurate paperwork and documentation
- Working safely around mine sites and industrial operations
- Looking after company vehicles and equipment
- Communicating professionally with clients and site personnel
About you
- Current MC driver's licence
- Proven heavy vehicle driving experience
- Good understanding of load restraint
- Strong safety focus
- Able to work unsupervised
- Reliable and punctual
- Valuable communication skills
- Able to pass site medical and drug & alcohol requirements
- Pilbara and mine-site experience highly regarded
