About The Role

Moree Community Health Service is seeking a passionate and experienced Breast Cancer Nurse to join our dedicated healthcare team.

In this role, you will deliver advanced, patient-centred care and provide expert clinical consultancy across the breast cancer care continuum. You will play a key role in coordinating care, supporting patients and families, and promoting a multidisciplinary approach to treatment and recovery, in alignment with McGrath Foundation standards.

You won’t be working alone. You will be supported by the Community Health Manager, as well as the Health Service Manager and fellow colleagues in the oncology unit. You will also have access to the broader McGrath Cancer Care Network for support. Ongoing professional development and growth opportunities are not only encouraged, but genuinely championed by a team that truly values “growing their own”.

About You

You are a compassionate and skilled nurse with a strong background in oncology and a commitment to improving outcomes for people affected by breast cancer.

Essential Criteria

- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
- Minimum 5 years full-time equivalent post-registration experience in surgical or medical oncology
- At least 3 years’ experience in breast or cancer care (or closely related field)

- Postgraduate qualifications in breast care nursing or cancer nursing
- Demonstrated understanding of contemporary breast cancer care practices and research
- Strong leadership,



communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to deliver holistic, patient-centred care tailored to individual needs
