Your first two years, mapped out before you start.
Most graduate OT roles offer you a job.
OT4You offers you a supported pathway into practice.
We have spent 10 years deliberately building the kind of early-career support structure we know new graduate Occupational Therapists need: clear consistence face to face supervision, targeted professional development, a gradually developing caseload and a team that supports you as you navigate the transition from university into clinical practice.
You will not be expected to know everything on your first day.
Instead, you will be supported to build your confidence, clinical reasoning and practical skills through regular supervision, shared sessions, observation opportunities, structured learning and access to experienced paediatric clinicians.
Your first two years will include opportunities to:
- build a paediatric caseload progressively, based on your skills and confidence
- participate in weekly individual supervision and fortnightly team supervision
- access targeted professional development relevant to your caseload
- observe experienced therapists and participate in shared sessions
- develop practical skills across clinic, home, school and community settings
- collaborate closely with Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, educators, families and other community services
- contribute to community networking by attending network meetings, child care and play group information sessions and community-based events like under 8s day all with the support of the team with them
- deliver presentations and community programs alongside other clinicians
- celebrate your progress, reflect on challenges and identify clear goals for your ongoing development
- participate in monthly team meeting that are values driven and encourage innovation, creatively and growth
- participate in weekly practice mentoring sessions that focus on your caseload management and wellbeing to ensuring you progress at your pace
At OT4You our early-career therapists are not kept in the background. They are supported to grow into capable, confident clinicians who contribute meaningfully to children, families and the wider community. They learn how to communicate confidently with families, educators and other professionals.
That is what supported professional growth looks like at OT4You.

A message from our Director
“I have been running OT4You for ten years. During that time, I have hired and supported several Occupational Therapists from their very first day of practice, and I understand what a new graduate genuinely needs.
You need clear supervision, targeted professional development, a caseload that builds progressively and a team that will celebrate your wins and work through the challenging cases with you.
You need the space to ask questions, develop your clinical reasoning and build your confidence as you navigate the transition from student to Occupational Therapist”.
That is exactly what we have built here.
If you are looking for a place to launch your career in a community that genuinely needs what you offer, we would love to hear from you.”
— Kristy Williams, Director and Principal Occupational Therapist
