Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is urgently seeking a Mechanical Fitter preferably with a background in the oil and gas (or mining) industry - for a Phosphate Hill Shutdown commencing ASAP.

The Phosphate Hill shutdown is for approximately 4 weeks. This will be followed shortly after by a Shutdown in July based at Lytton / Brisbane for a number of weeks (if you choose to do both).

Please note the flight to site will be departing out of Brisbane.

At this time we will only consider applications from Australian citizens or those with the required permit/VISA for this region, in place.

Qualifications

- Previous Shutdown/T&I; experience is an advantage
- You will have proven maintenance experience in heavy industry environments
- Flange management, Rotating Equipment, Valve overhaul, Hydrotesting, Valve and pipe installation experience required.

A pre-employment medical will need to be conducted this week, along with reference checks.
