About the role

We are seeking a friendly and professional Medical Receptionist to join our energetic team at Bourke Street Clinic in Surry Hills, NSW. In this casual position, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our patients and healthcare providers.

What you'll be doing

- Greeting and welcoming patients in a warm and courteous manner

- Efficiently managing patient bookings, arrivals and departures

- Handling patient inquiries and providing information about our services

- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records and patient files

- Assisting with general administrative tasks such as data entry, filing and answering phone calls

- Ensuring the reception area is well-organised and presentable at all times

What we're looking for

- Previous experience as a medical or healthcare receptionist, or in a similar customer service role

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with patients in a friendly and professional manner

- Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively





- Proficient in using computer systems and medical software
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain accurate patient records
- A friendly, courteous and helpful attitude, with a genuine interest in providing high-quality customer service
