About Humble BragsHumble Brags is a founder community. We started as a podcast and now run The Brag Club, a private membership for founders turning over $1m or more.

Our members run brands you know and they join for the room to get access to the best, most supportive founder community. The whole business runs on real connection between people who are building hard things.

We are based in Sydney however we have members across Australia and want to make sure everyone is being looked after. We'd like this role to sit in Melbourne or Queensland so you can own all the meet ups in that city.

The roleYou are our person on the ground in your state. You will host our members in person, keep them close, and make sure being part of The Brag Club feels like the best money they spend all year.

Two thirds of this job is people. One third is admin, partnerships and getting the details right so the people part works.

What you will actually doLook after our members

- Be the first point of contact for members in your state, in WhatsApp and in person
- Welcome and onboard new members, learn what they are working on, and stay across it
- Make introductions between members who should know each other
- Notice when a member has gone quiet, and do something about it before renewal comes around
- Gather feedback continuously and bring it back to me unfiltered, including the parts I will not enjoy hearing

Run our in person meetups

- Host our dinners, breakfasts, workplace visits and member events in Melbourne or Queensland
- Handle venue sourcing, bookings, run sheets, guest lists, dietaries, name badges and everything else that makes a room feel considered
- Be in the room on the night, working it, making sure nobody is standing alone
- Debrief afterwards on what worked and what we change next time

Build our partnerships and perks

- Source and pitch local brands,



venues and service providers who want access to our room of founders
- Negotiate member perks and keep our perks offering fresh, so the value stacks up month after month
- Manage those partner relationships once they are live, including delivery and reporting back
- Look after partners at events

Keep us organised

- Maintain member records, event admin, RSVPs and follow ups
- Report on attendance, feedback and partnership pipeline

How we will measure you
- Member happiness. We survey members, and your score is the number that matters most. Retention and renewal in your state sit underneath it.
- Attendance and repeat attendance at the events you host.
- New perks and partners brought in and delivered.
- New ideas shipped. I want someone who brings me things I did not ask for.

Who this suits
- You genuinely like people and remember details about them without writing it down
- You can hold a room, work a crowd and introduce two strangers to each other without it being awkward
- You write well and reply rapid
- You are organised enough that nothing falls through, and calm enough that when it does, you fix it before anyone notices
- You are comfortable pitching a partnership and negotiating what we get for it
- You have run events before, or hosted communities, or done hospitality, or account management. The title matters less than whether you have looked after people for a living.
- You are self directed.
- You have your own network in your city, or you are the kind of person who will build one quickly

Nice to have
- You have worked closely with founders before
- Existing relationships with venues, restaurants or brands in your city
- Familiarity with WhatsApp communities
