ABOUT THE ROLEVicious Threads is looking for an organised, enthusiastic and reliable Touring Merchandise Coordinator to join our growing team. This is an entry-level role suited to someone looking to build a career in music, touring, merchandise, events or entertainment. Working closely with our Touring Merchandise Lead, you'll gain hands-on experience across the merchandise lifecycle, from design and production through to touring, stock management, online sales and reporting.

ABOUT VICIOUS THREADSVicious Threads is a Melbourne-based touring merchandise company servicing artists, promoters, festivals and live events across Australia and New Zealand.
We manage merchandise from concept and design through to manufacturing, logistics, touring sales, online retail and reporting.
Vicious Threads operates alongside DRW Entertainment, providing exposure to the broader live entertainment and touring industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the Touring Merchandise Lead with day-to-day merchandise administration.
- Assist with budgets, sales projections and stock planning.
- Assist with merchandise designs, product development and production.
- Communicate with clients, designers, suppliers, manufacturers and contractors.
- Maintain merchandise spreadsheets, budgets and project information.
- Assist with monitoring production from concept through to delivery.
- Organise freight and courier bookings.
- Assist with stock counts, packing and merchandise preparation.
- Assist with Shopify administration, online orders and dispatch.
- Support Vicious Threads social media and content.
- Provide general administrative support to Vicious Threads and DRW Entertainment.
- Assist with other tasks across the business as required.
ABOUT YOUWe're looking for someone who is organised, curious, practical and keen to learn. Ideally, you will:
- Have a genuine interest in music, touring, merchandise or entertainment.
- Have strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Be comfortable working with numbers and spreadsheets.
- Have excellent attention to detail.
- Be confident with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets and Microsoft Office, or willing to learn.
- Have an interest in design and Canva or similar software.
- Have some familiarity with Instagram and Facebook.
- Be interested in learning Shopify and e-commerce systems.
- Be comfortable counting, organising and handling merchandise stock.
- Have robust written and verbal communication skills.
- Be able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Be proactive, reliable and comfortable asking questions.
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change.
