Mining Engineer

Karara Mining Project | 8/6 roster | Permanent full time

NRW Civil & Mining is seeking a qualified Mining Engineer to join our team at the $700 million Karara Mining project in Western Australia.

This is an opportunity to influence short-term mine planning and production performance while working with an experienced operational team. The site offers modern mining equipment, excellent workshop infrastructure and a well-developed camp with gym and recreational facilities.

The Role

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will:

- Deliver safe and optimised short-term mine plans and schedules
- Collaborate with operational teams to support production targets
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Promote NRW’s health, safety and environmental policies

About You

You will have

- A Bachelor of Engineering in Mining or a relevant tertiary qualification
- At least two years’ experience in an operational engineering role on a production mine site
- Experience in planning, scheduling, budgeting and cost control




- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with Caterpillar, Komatsu and Hitachi earthmoving equipment
- A current Australian Driver’s Licence
