About the Role

Looking to build a specialised, highly sought-after mechanical skill set? We are seeking a mechanically minded individual to join our team as a Mobile Hose Fitter / Field Service Technician. In this role, you will operate a dedicated mobile service unit, responding to local breakdown requests and solve fluid power issues in office.

You do not need prior hydraulic experience. We are looking for someone who loves hands-on problem-solving, working with tools, and wants to master a highly technical trade.

- Stable, Local Roster: Predictable Monday to Friday day shifts (8:00 AM to 4:30 PM) with a shared after-hours roster (1 week on-call every 3 weeks).
- Tools of the Trade: Fully equipped service van, fuel card, and modern tools provided.

Daily Variety (Where You Will Be Working)

You will travel to a diverse mix of local customer sites, keeping the work interesting:
- Civil construction and earthmoving projects
- Transport, trucking, and logistics depots
- Marine and waterfront facilities
- Local fixed-plant industrial sites

What We Are Looking For

We are highly flexible on your background. You might be a trade-qualified mechanic/fitter looking to specialise, or someone with informal mechanical experience who just loves working with their hands.
- Strong Mechanical Aptitude: You enjoy pulling things apart, fixing things, and understanding how mechanical systems work. Prior knowledge of fitting is highly regarded but not required.
- Valid Driver's Licence (Essential): Because you will be operating a mobile service van and driving to field sites most of the day, a clean licence (either manual or automatic transmission) is a strict requirement.
- Reliability & Independence: You can work alone safely on-site, manage your time effectively, and turn up ready for your scheduled shifts and on-call weeks.

Candidates must possess valid work authorisation to be employed in Australia.
