'Susuru Ramen and Gyoza Bar' recently renew as a 'Susuru Izakaya'.
Izakayas are a huge part of Japanese culture, casual bars where people come to unwind after work and enjoy outstanding food and drinks.
We have our own factory to make Japanese dumplings, which we call 'gyoza', and also make ramen broth.
Our workers are very friendly and have a great work environment to learn different skills and knowledge of customer service.
The staff who work at the restaurant are Australian and Japanese, which will be a great experience to work with and learn lots of different cultures.
Position Overview
We are seeking senior casual waitstaff who can start working immediately.
Successful candidates will be able to work flexibly within our roster, which includes weekends and public holidays.
The ideal candidates are seeking positions.
Shift Availability
Current valid Australian work rights are required for this position.
Available to work the lunch shift (9:30am - 15:00pm) as well as dinner shifts (17:30-) and weekends.
Must be available during the Christmas and New Year period.
Eligibility & Requirements
- Have at least 1 year's experience in a similar senior role (restaurant customer service skill required)
- Confident working in a busy restaurant
- Flexibility (10-15 hours a week, including weekend and split shifts). The Christmas and Recent Year period MUST be available
- Have knowledge of customer service and cleaning procedures
- Interest in Japanese culture
- RSA required (Over 18 years old)
- NSW-specific RSA certification is required
- Be able to work on public holidays
Remuneration is based on award levels and is negotiable based on experience and performance.
