INTEGRATED RECOVERY SERVICES – Wheelers Hill VIC

We are seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to lead the growth of our debt recovery division. This role is primarily focused on new business development, identifying, pursuing, and onboarding new clients. You will also have an oversight of operational performance to ensure client expectations are met and exceeded. In addition, ensuring our current clients are provided with quality service.

Key responsibilities

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across target sectors (finance, utilities, telco, healthcare, trade credit, etc.)
- Develop and execute a sales/growth strategy to win new clients
- Build a strong pipeline through networking, referrals, cold outreach, industry events, and partnerships
- Prepare and deliver compelling pitches, proposals, and tenders to prospective clients
- Negotiate commercial terms, fee structures, and service level agreements with new clients
- Build and maintain relationships with key referral sources (lawyers, accountants, credit managers, industry bodies)
- Represent the business at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to build brand presence
- Track and report on business development KPIs (pipeline, conversion rates, revenue growth)
- Act as senior point of contact for key client accounts,



ensuring retention and satisfaction
- Conduct regular client reviews and reporting on portfolio/recovery performance

About you

- Proven track record in business development, sales, or account management, ideally within debt recovery, financial services, credit management, or B2B professional services
- Strong existing network within relevant industries (finance, credit, legal, utilities) highly regarded
- Excellent relationship-building, pitching, and negotiation skills
- Commercially astute with a strong focus on revenue growth and target achievement
- Understanding of the debt recovery industry and Australian compliance obligations (desirable)
- Confident communicator and presenter, comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders/decision-makers
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work autonomously to grow a book of business
- Experience with CRM/pipeline management tools
