Senior Network Services Engineer | Sydney | Contract

We’re urgently seeking an experienced Senior Network Services Engineer for a contract opportunity within a major banking environment in Sydney.

This is a hands-on senior engineering role working across enterprise network infrastructure, with responsibility for the design, configuration, implementation and support of critical network services.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for

- Configuring, deploying and maintaining switches, routers, firewalls and WiFi infrastructure
- Troubleshooting complex network performance, connectivity and security issues
- Supporting network migrations and implementation activities
- Maintaining network documentation and technical standards
- Working closely with internal teams, customers and vendors to deliver network solutions
- Providing technical guidance and support throughout project delivery
- Travelling to Sydney-based sites and Data Centres as required

What We’re Looking For

- Minimum 5+ years’ Network Engineering experience
- Strong hands-on experience across switching, routing, firewalls and wireless technologies
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, routing and switching, and network security




- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving capability
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across technical and business stakeholders
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet, Palo Alto or Aruba are highly regarded
- White Card is desirable
- Willingness to travel to customer sites and Data Centres as required
