About the role
Our nursing team is critical in our vision to build healthier rural people and thriving communities. Our nurse managers make sure we deliver on our promise through creating safe, healthy environments that support the work of the health care team and contribute to patient engagement.
You will be managing and supervising staff and clinical nursing practice with a focus on optimal patient outcomes and professional growth for staff. Other duties include case management, treatment planning, recruitment budgeting, scheduling, mentoring and developing educational plans.
This position would consist of management and clinical duties.
You’ll be a role model to uphold policies and professional standards practices with staff to deliver evidence based best-practice and safe care. You’ll also be an advocate for our organisational change processes to continuously improve nursing care delivery.
This is level 1 position so is suited to a nurse that wants to take the next step in their management career. You will have extensive post graduate experience and relevant post-graduate qualifications in management or a willingness to do so within 12 months.
