About the role
We are seeking an Occupational Therapist who is adept at managing a varied clinical caseload.
This includes providing treatment, guidance and education to individuals and their carers. You will be part of a supportive and passionate team. You must be willing to travel into the community, as required, to deliver services to your participants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Capacity Building Independence Programs to improve functional independence, including the assessment of daily living capabilities.
- Develop evidenced based, therapeutic programs in accordance with prescribed ethical and professional standards.
- Ensure integrated service delivery and follow up, coordinating and communicating as required with clients, colleagues and other health professionals involved in multi-disciplinary service delivery.

- Deliver high level Occupational Therapy based on OT Models of practice.
- Prescription of equipment and assistive technologies
About you
- Approved tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy
- Current registration with AHPRA (Australia Health Practitioners Regulation Agency)
- A genuine passion for working with individuals with a disability
- Positive and client-centred professional with great communication skills and the ability to engage with clients living with varying disabilities.
- Current C Class Drivers License Qld – essential and access to own vehicle. Mileage is reimbursed by Aspire Allied Health..
- Current CPR and First Aid Certificates
- Eligibility to work in Australia
Certifications approved by APHRA and registration must be maintained during employment
