ABOUT THE ROLE
The King’s School is seeking a reliable and motivated Casual Laundry Assistant to join our Property and Laundry team at The King’s School in North Parramatta. Reporting to the Laundry Supervisor, the Laundry Assistant is responsible for ensuring all laundry is managed in accordance with School standards, processes, and safety requirements, delivering high quality outcomes in a timely and secure manner. Past experience working in a commercial laundry environment is desirable.
Key responsibilities include:
• Processing, washing, drying, folding, ironing and distributing laundry items in accordance with School standards and procedures.
• Operating laundry equipment safely and efficiently, reporting any faults or maintenance requirements.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe laundry environment at all times.
• Complying with all Work Health and Safety requirements and supporting the efficient operation of the Laundry and broader Property Team.
