Casual Employment Opportunity – Browns Plains, QLD 4118

We are currently seeking a qualified Trainer and Assessor to deliver the CHC33021 – Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing / Disability) at our Browns Plains campus.

Delivery will include the use of flexible learning models using online platforms and face-to-face training 4 days a week. You will work 1 day a week at our head office in Collingwood Park.

Essential Requirements

- TAE40116/TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent)
- Relevant qualifications (Certificate, Diploma or higher) in Individual Support/Community Care
- Soundunderstanding of the Community Services Industry
- Recent and relevant industry experience (at least 2 years)
- Current Driver’s Licence
- The ability to train and assess HLTAID011 - Provide first aid would be highly regarded

- Competent in Microsoft Office and online learning management systems

What You’ll Be Doing

- Deliver and assess the Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing & Disability)
- Use engaging and varied teaching methods to inspire learners
- Planning lessons and updating training materials as needed
- Mark and submit assessments within required timeframes
- Support students with work placement coordination
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and outcomes
- Build and sustain relationships with community partners and local employers

Please note: Our main office is located at Collingwood Park (4301). Occasional travel between campuses is required.
