Irish Murphy’s Brisbane, combining Trove Brisbane is looking for a full-time qualified Chef or experienced Cook to join our friendly kitchen team.

This is a outstanding opportunity to work across two vibrant venues: Irish Murphy’s, serving hearty Irish pub favourites, and Trove Cocktail Bar and Restaurant, offering a diverse menu of contemporary dishes and function food.

About the role

Working alongside our experienced and passionate Head Chef, you’ll help prepare and deliver consistently high-quality food in a busy, supportive kitchen. Our Head Chef genuinely enjoys developing team members and is ready to inspire and teach someone who wants to advance their skills and build a career in the industry.

Your classification will be at Level 2, Level 3 or Level 4, depending on your qualifications and experience.

What we’re looking for

- A qualified Chef or capable Cook

- Previous kitchen experience is preferred

- A positive attitude and genuine willingness to learn

- Reliability and the ability to work well within a team





- Strong food safety, hygiene and presentation standards

- Full availability across weekdays, evenings and weekends

- The ability to remain organised and focused in a busy kitchen

Formal qualifications and experience are an advantage, but we’re also happy to train the right person who brings enthusiasm, commitment and a desire to learn the trade.
