RBC Business Solutions – Eight Mile Plains QLD

As a Level 1.5 Support Technician, you'll be responsible for managing incoming support requests, resolving Level 1 and Level 1.5 issues, and providing onsite support when required to our clients throughout the Brisbane and Gold Coast region. This is a hands‑on role where no two days are the same. You'll work closely with senior engineers, gain exposure to a wide variety of client environments, and build the skills needed for future progression into a Level 2 role.

Key responsibilities

- Answering incoming support calls and responding to service requests.
- Troubleshooting and resolving Level 1 and Level 1.5 support tickets.
- Providing support for Microsoft 365 environments.
- Assisting users with Windows desktop and laptop issues.
- Managing user accounts, passwords, MFA and access requests.
- Supporting Microsoft Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint and Exchange Online.
- Diagnosing printer, networking and connectivity issues.
- Deploying and configuring desktops, laptops and peripherals.
- Performing onsite support visits for installations, troubleshooting and user assistance.
- Maintaining accurate ticket notes,



documentation and time entries.

About you

- Previous experience in an IT Helpdesk, Service Desk, Desktop Support or Technical Support role.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Windows OS.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer service focus and professional presentation.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- High attention to detail and documentation standards.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Current Australian Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Explicit career progression into Level 2 and infrastructure‑focused roles.
