Role Description The Operations and Business Development Manager is a full-time, in office role based in Carabooda, WA. This position oversees day-to-day operations across key service divisions, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards. The role includes managing teams and resources, optimizing workflows, coordinating plant and equipment, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

The Manager will also lead business development activities, including identifying new opportunities, maintaining client relationships and contributing to strategic growth plans. Collaboration with senior leadership to set performance targets, monitor financial outcomes, and support a positive, inclusive workplace culture is central to this position.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated operations management experience in landscape maintenance,



or related industries, including project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Business development skills such as client relationship management, prospect identification, and negotiation.
- Strong leadership and people management capabilities, including mentoring teams, performance management, and fostering a safe, collaborative work environment.
- Competence in financial and commercial management, including budgeting, cost control, contract administration, and reporting.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards relevant to landscaping and maintenance operations.
- Tertiary qualification in business, management, or a related field is highly regarded but not essential.
