Our client is a locally owned Sydney roofing business working across residential and commercial. Repairs, restoration, replacement, installation and ongoing maintenance, delivered across Sydney.

About the role

You run the day to day operations of a locally owned Sydney roofing business. This is a hands-on role managing internal staff, contractors, and supplier relationships.

Key responsibilities

- Schedule and roster the install crews

- Keep subcontractors on the tools and on standard

- Ensure jobs that go out the door match what was sold

- Work closely with the sales team so quoting, scheduling and delivery all line up

- Own the customer service side including complaints

- Manage compliance from secure work paperwork through to licences and site standards

- Manage supplier relationships, around a dozen of them

- Hold margin through pricing,



purchasing and job costing

About you

- Operations experience from another install-based trade services business such as solar, HVAC, glazing, waterproofing, flooring, or fencing

- Comfort with job management software

- Understanding of install-based trade work and the people who do it
