Key responsibilities

1. Portfolio offtake strategy

- Own and develop the offtake and revenue strategy across Jinko Power Australia’s development portfolio, including the appropriate mix of bilateral PPAs, government schemes, merchant exposure, storage tolling and other structured revenue products.
- Recommend when, how much and on what terms each project should contract, balancing bankability, project value and market optionality.

2. Origination and counterparty relationships

- Own, expand and actively work a live network of offtake counterparties: retailers and gentailers, energy buyers (data centres, mining, manufacturing, industrials, logistics, retail chains), traders, utilities, and government scheme administrators.
- Maintain a live counterparty map: who is buying, what volume, what tenor, what structure, at what price, and on whose approval.
- Generate both inbound and outbound deal flow. Be the market-facing face of Jinko on offtake.

2. Market analysis — NEM and WEM

- Hold an independent, defensible view of the NEM and WEM: regional forward curves, generation shape and capture rates, solar and wind value cannibalisation, negative pricing and curtailment exposure, marginal loss factors, evening peak spreads and BESS arbitrage economics, FCAS revenue, and the connection and commissioning realities behind any revenue forecast.
- Analysis of AEMO’s ISP, ESOO and connection publications, and translate them into what we should be pricing.

3. Government schemes and competitive tenders

- Tender programs participation, including CIS, LTESA and State and other schemes.
- Maintain a rolling 24-month tender calendar mapped against our pipeline, and decide project by project which round to bid into and which to hold back.
- Lead bid strategy and bid execution end to end: pricing and bid-price strategy, deliverability evidence, and the non-price merit criteria that increasingly decide these rounds — project delivery capability, organisational capability, First Nations participation and equity or revenue sharing set-asides,



community benefit sharing, local content and workforce commitments.

4. Deal execution

- Run the full bilateral cycle end to end: target list, indicative pricing, non-binding offer or term sheet, negotiation, execution.
- Negotiate commercial terms alongside legal, with a clear sense of where the bankability lines sit: credit support, tenor, volume flex, curtailment allocation, change in law, LDs, milestone and termination regimes.

5. Cross-functional and transaction support

- Work closely with development, grid and engineering so offtake and bid commitments track real COD, connection and delivery risk.
- Work with finance and M&A; so that executed offtake and awarded contracts maximise realised value in sale and farm-down processes; support buyer and lender due diligence on revenue contracts.
- Report offtake and tender pipeline, weighted probability and pricing to the board and shareholders.

About you — essential

- 7+ years in Australian energy markets, with a substantial portion in PPA origination, structuring, or wholesale/retail energy trading, or advising on offtake.
- A demonstrable, verifiable track record of executed PPAs.
- Direct, hands-on experience of Australian tender processes.
- Genuine NEM analytical depth, and enough WEM literacy to tell us whether a WA project is worth pursuing.
- An active buy-side network. You should be able to make ten credible calls in your first week and get them returned.
- Commercial fluency with contract terms — PPAs, CISAs, LTESAs — and a clear sense of what a lender or acquirer will and will not accept.
- Versatile and creative.
- Personally credible.

Desirable

- Existing relationships with offtakers at CFO / CPO / sustainability-lead level, and with data centre and hyperscaler procurement teams.
- Experience with storage revenue contracts, tolling, virtual tolling, cap contracts.
- Experience on the sell side of project M&A; or farm-down processes.
- Network across project finance banks, transaction advisors and independent market consultants.
- English and Mandarin bilingual is a plus.
