St Joseph's Memorial School is seeking an energetic, highly organised, and qualified Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Director to lead and support our dedicated OSHC team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a welcoming school community and oversee a high-quality service that is centred on the needs, wellbeing, and development of children, in accordance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).

The OSHC Director plays a pivotal leadership role in the day-to-day management of the service, including staff leadership, program development and delivery, family engagement, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory and legislative requirements.

The service operates across Before School Care, After School Care, Vacation Care Programs

About the Role

As the OSHC Director, you will:

- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the OSHC team.
- Oversee the planning and delivery of engaging, inclusive, and child-focused programs.

- Foster a secure, nurturing, and positive environment that supports children's learning, wellbeing, and development.
- Build strong relationships with children, families, school staff, and the wider community.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, legislative, and organisational requirements.
- Manage daily operations,



administration, staffing, and service quality improvement processes.

About You To be successful in this role, you will:

- Have a genuine passion for working with children and supporting positive outcomes for their learning, wellbeing, and development.
- Demonstrate strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- Be able to supervise, mentor, and support staff in a positive and professional manner.
- Work collaboratively and effectively within a team environment.
- Demonstrate initiative, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Be committed to providing a high-quality OSHC service that reflects best practice and child-centred care.

Essential Requirements

- An ACECQA-approved Diploma qualification (or equivalent).
- A current Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care (RRHAN-EC) certificate.
- A current Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting (HLTAID012) certificate.
- A current and acceptable Working with Children Check (WWCC) and Catholic Clearance
- Knowledge of the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standards, and relevant education and care legislation.
