Silica Restaurant is seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our team.

What we're looking for

- Minimum 5+ years of professional cooking experience
- Formal training or equivalent practical experience in a skilled kitchen environment.
- Advanced knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and flavour development across various cuisines.
- Proven ability to manage kitchen staff effectively, including delegation and communication.
- Strong understanding of food safety, health and hygiene regulations.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure during service.
- Creative flair and passion for menu development.
- Cost control expertise and ability to manage kitchen budgets effectively.
- Experience working in a busy, high-volume restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with all team members
