Meaningful - Performance Marketing Agency Part-time | 15-25 hours per week | Sunshine Coast

About us
Meaningful Agency is an independent, full-service growth marketing agency based on the Sunshine Coast.
We've worked with 100+ brands across 20+ markets and manage $50M+ in media. Our client list includes national names like LEAP Legal Software, Doshii, Southern Cross Travel Insurance and Matrix Education, through to local fast growing brands, meaning the work here spans household brands and scrappy challengers in the same week.
We're a performance agency with senior operators on every account. We look at a client's whole business, offer, marketing, website, lead management, sales; not just whether the ads are on or off, and we hold ourselves accountable to their results.
Our vision is to transform media into a space for valuable, impactful and meaningful ads. We're relentless, bold and collaborative, and we believe in doing the trivial well.
The roleWe're looking for someone at the start of their marketing career to support our paid campaigns. You do not need to have a lot of experience in the marketing field, but do need to be savvy across socials and an eye for a good ad.
Your main focus will be supporting paid media execution. This will mainly be in designing ads for our clients, you’ll take briefs (and write your own ideas) and turn them to reality, making real ads for real businesses. Alongside that, you'll support the team with campaign uploads, day-to-day optimisations and the operational work that keeps accounts running well.
This is a creative role blended with performance marketing. You’ll be learning from the account management team what is performing well for clients and tasked with creating unique ads. You’ll learn a lot about what works on Meta Ads and get to show your creative skill in creating new ads to test
This is a entry level role into performance marketing. You don't need agency experience. You need to be curious, organised, and excited to build something Meaningful. We will provide training across our processes and teach you how things work.
This role will get lots of training and assistance from our senior members of staff, so we are looking for someone who’s genuinely interested in marketing and wants to start their career.
What you'll be doingCreative production (the bulk of the role)
- Building static ad creative for Meta and Google campaigns using existing brand kits and templates
- Producing multiple variations of concepts for testing: different hooks, layouts, formats and sizes
- Resizing and adapting creative across placements (feed, story, reel, display)
- Sourcing and organising client assets, keeping the creative library tidy and labelled
- Basic light-touch editing: cropping, background removal, adding text overlays and captions
Campaign support
- Uploading ads and campaigns into Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads
- Making straightforward optimisations under direction, pausing underperformers, adjusting budgets, refreshing creative
- Pulling performance data and helping prepare client reporting
- Quality-checking live campaigns for errors before and after launch
General
- Keeping client tasks and deadlines updated in our project management system
- Documenting processes as you learn them
- Joining team calls and contributing ideas
Where this role can goWe're hiring for the person, not just the tasks. There's a transparent pathway here for someone who wants to build a career in performance marketing.
First few months: get confident with creative production, ad platform basics and how we work.
6-12 months: start owning creative strategy for accounts, take on more of the optimisation work, learn the fundamentals of campaign structure, audience strategy and conversion tracking.
Beyond: depending on your strengths and interest, grow into a Paid Media Specialist role, or branch into analytics, tracking implementation, SEO or client strategy. Several paths are open, and we'll support the one that fits you.
We'll invest in your development with structured training, platform certifications and direct mentoring from senior team members.
What we're looking forEssential
- A good eye for design: you can tell the difference between creative that works and creative that doesn't, and you care about the details
- Confidence in Canva (or Figma / Adobe Creative Suite)
- Strong written English and attention to detail
- Organised and reliable with your own workload
- Genuine interest in marketing, advertising and what makes people buy
- Comfortable working independently
- Strive to be bold, relentless and collaborative
Nice to have (but we'll teach you)
- Any exposure to Meta Ads Manager or Google Ads
- Marketing, design or communications experience
- Experience running social content for a business, side project or club
- Basic video editing
- A portfolio of any kind: uni work, personal projects, freelance, spec work
What you don't need
- Agency experience
- A degree
- Knowledge of tracking, analytics or bidding strategy
What you'll getAn award-winning agency behind you We've been recognised at awards such as B&T;, Media Federation Awards, APAC Search Awards: and you'll be learning directly from senior operators who've built that reputation.
Real training, not shadowing Hands-on development across Meta Ads, Google Ads, SEO, analytics and creative strategy, with structured learning and platform certifications paid for.
Trips and retreats We run regular trips to Sydney for client work, industry events and time with the wider team. We also take the whole team away once a year; this year was Bali.
Work that looks good on a CV You'll be building creative for brands people have heard of and gaining experience in a fast growing agency.
The practical stuff
- Pay package above average for entry level roles
- Flexible part-time hours that can work around study or other commitments
- Sunshine Coast based, Hybrid available
- A clear progression pathway with the option to move to full-time as the role grows
- A team small enough that your work is visible and your ideas get heard
