About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Strength & Conditioning Coach to join our performance team, within a part-time role. At Principle Sports Performance, we are driven by a singular goal: bridging the gap between aspiring athletes and elite performance.
You’ll work closely with athletes, coaches, and support staff to deliver structured, evidence-based programs that support athletic development, injury prevention, and performance outcomes.
Market-competitive salary package, starting Part-Time (approx 12-19 hours) and progressing to a Full-Time equivalent of $90,000 + super.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver strength & conditioning programs across various age groups and sporting levels.
- Conduct physical testing and monitor athletic development throughout the year.
- Collect and analyse performance data using across platforms such as: VALD, GymAware, Excel, Lumin etc.
- Assist in managing gym-based and field-based training sessions.
- Work collaboratively with coaches, physiotherapists, and other performance staff.
- Maintain accurate records of athlete performance, wellness, and attendance.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and high-performance training environment.
Key Requirements
- A relevant degree in Exercise & Sport Science or similar (or nearing completion).
- ASCA Level 1 (minimum) or international equivalent.
- Previous experience working with youth, high school, or semi-professional athletes.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
Desirable
- ASCA Level 2 or equivalent.
- Experience working in professional/semi-professional sport, team sport environments, or private S&C; settings.
- Knowledge of athlete monitoring platforms (e.g. Lumin, TeamBuildr, Smartabase, Excel, GPS data).
