About This Opportunity

We're seeking an organised and proactive Medical Imaging Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience from the moment they walk through the door.

You'll deliver efficient, professional reception services both in-person and over the phone, providing friendly, caring support to patients, referrers and all other stakeholders. This is a multi-tasking, fast-paced, team-player role, committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Providing a welcoming and professional first impression for all patients
- Managing patient bookings and enquiries in person and via phone/email
- Accurate data entry and maintenance of patient's records
- Processing Medicare claims, billing and patient payment transactions




- Liaising with GP's, Specialists and third parties to obtain and follow up medical information
- Working collaboratively with our team of radiographers, sonographers and administration staff ensuring smooth clinic operations.
- Providing a high standard of customer service while maintaining patient confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

About You

- Experience in a similar environment, such as a health service or radiology, is highly regarded but not essential
- A high level of customer and patient service
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organised, with the ability to multitask
- High attention to detail
- Strong computer skills
- A positive attitude and professional presentation
- Willingness to learn
- Availability to work flexible hours between 7am–6pm, Monday to Friday
