Role Description This on-site Personal Support Worker role is based in the Greater Adelaide Area.
The Personal Support
Worker provides direct support to clients with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility assistance, and help with meals and household tasks. The role involves monitoring client wellbeing, following care plans, documenting observations, and promptly reporting any changes or concerns.

Worker collaborates with healthcare professionals, families, and other support staff to ensure safe, respectful, and person-centered care. The position also requires maintaining a clean and protected environment, supporting clients’ social and community participation, and adhering to all safeguarding and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Experience as a Support Worker or in a similar direct care role, with a strong commitment to person-centered support.
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities to build trust, listen actively, and collaborate with clients, families, and colleagues.
- Knowledge of Safeguarding practices and duty of care, including maintaining qualified boundaries and responding appropriately to concerns.
- Basic Technical Support and technology skills to use care management systems, digital documentation tools, and communication platforms.
- Understanding of infection control, manual handling, and workplace health and safety procedures.
- Ability to work reliably within a participants home, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing client needs.
- Current police check, working with vulnerable people clearance, and valid driver’s license are highly desirable.
- First aid and manual handling certificated must be current / up to date.
