About the role

Goodna Day and Night Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our team on a part-time basis. Based in Goodna, QLD 4300, this role offers the opportunity to provide essential pharmaceutical care to our diverse community whilst working flexible hours that suit your lifestyle. As a Pharmacist, you will be at the forefront of patient care, ensuring the secure and effective use of medications whilst supporting the smooth operation of our busy pharmacy.

This position is integral to maintaining our reputation for excellence and professional service within the local healthcare landscape.

What you'll be doing

- Regular Wednesday afternoon till evening shift with scope for more

- Dispensing prescribed medications with accuracy and attention to detail

- Providing expert pharmaceutical advice to patients regarding medication usage, potential side effects and drug interactions

- Conducting medication reviews and identifying opportunities to optimise patient therapy outcomes

- Maintaining comprehensive and accurate patient medication records

- Collaborating with healthcare providers and other professionals to ensure optimal patient care

- Managing pharmacy inventory, stock control and ordering systems

- Ensuring compliance with all relevant pharmaceutical regulations, legislation and professional standards

- Providing over-the-counter medication recommendations and general health advice to customers

- Supporting the pharmacy team in delivering excellent customer service

- Contributing to health promotion initiatives and community education programmes

What we're looking for

- A current, valid registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (or eligible for registration)

- A tertiary qualification in Pharmacy or equivalent recognised qualification

- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, interactions, contraindications and therapeutic uses

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly to patients and healthcare professionals





- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all pharmacy operations

- Ability to work efficiently under pressure whilst maintaining high professional standards

- Strong organisational and time management skills

- Knowledge of current pharmacy legislation, regulations and professional guidelines

- Proficiency with pharmacy management systems and computer applications
- A patient-centred approach with a genuine commitment to quality healthcare delivery

- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a pharmacy team

- Preferred experience in community pharmacy settings or providing clinical pharmacy services
