GAME Traffic & Contracting has been delivering professional traffic management services since 1993, with a strong regional presence across Western, Central and Eastern Victoria.

We are seeking a full-time Depot Manager to lead our Bendigo operations. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing depot operations, managing people and resources, maintaining strong customer relationships, and ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of services.

About the Role

As Depot Manager, you'll be the link between senior management and our operational teams, ensuring the depot operates safely, efficiently, and profitably while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all OHS, legislative, and company requirements
- Lead, coach and develop depot staff to achieve high performance and service excellence
- Manage recruitment, training, workforce planning, review submitted payroll information and associated documentation, and employee development
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships while coordinating and quoting upcoming works
- Support business growth through customer engagement, quotations, tenders, and current opportunities
- Coordinate resources, scheduling, vehicles, equipment, and staffing to meet operational demands
- Oversee the maintenance, compliance, and availability of depot vehicles, plant, and equipment
- Manage incidents, risks, audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with customer contracts, company policies,



and industry standards
- Participate in an after-hours on-call roster to support customer and emergency response requirements

About You

You are a proactive and organised leader who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment and enjoys building strong teams and customer relationships. You do not shy away from difficult conversations and are able to act as a point of escalation when issues arise with staff and clients.

- Proven experience leading a sizeable and diverse team (Traffic Management, Civil Construction, or a similar operational environment preferred)
- Current Victorian Driver Licence
- Current Construction White Card, or willing to obtain
- Victorian Traffic Management tickets (Cat 2 desirable), or willing to obtain
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Sound computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent organisational, planning, and problem-solving abilities
- A customer-focused approach and a positive, can-do attitude
