About the Role

Based at our Belmont Head Office, you will play an integral role in the design and development of our award-winning range of home designs, display homes and granny flats.

We are seeking a creative and motivated Building Designer - Draftsperson with a passion for residential design and a natural flair for innovation. You will take ownership of new projects, guiding the direction of designs from concept stage through to design development.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the creation of innovative and functional homes with one of NSW's leading residential builders.

Key Responsibilities

- Create innovative and functional concepts that align with client needs and company standards.
- Produce detailed and accurate architectural drawings.




- Collaborate closely with the Design and Development team to ensure the seamless delivery of new designs from concept through to architecturals.
- Take ownership of projects and help guide the direction of new designs.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, materials and construction methods and incorporate the latest advancements into future designs.

About You

You are passionate about residential design, enjoy thinking creatively and take pride in producing high-quality work. You bring a strong technical understanding together with the ability to contribute innovative ideas and work collaboratively within a team environment.

You will bring:

- Minimum 2 years' residential architectural experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills.
- Tertiary qualifications in Architecture or Building Design.
- Proficiency in ArchiCAD.
- Strong understanding of DCP, CDC and Council requirements.
- The ability to think creatively and deliver innovative design outcomes.
- Exceptional architectural design skills and a genuine passion for the industry.
- Meticulous attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with the broader team.
