Refrigeration Technician - Beer & Commercial Systems | New Ute | $100-125k

Beers-R-Us has been installing and servicing beer reticulation and commercial refrigeration across Sydney for over 25 years. Pubs, clubs, bars, cafes and hotels. We’re a small team based on the Northern Beaches, and we’re hiring one more technician.

What the work actually looks like

You’ll be vehicle-based out of Brookvale, running your own day across venues from the Northern Beaches, Sydney CBD, West, Blue Mountains, Central Coast, South etc. Beer reticulation, glycol systems, coolrooms. Install work and service work, mixed.

What we’re not

We don’t do supermarket contracts. We don’t do 2am freezer callouts in an empty Coles. If you’re a fridgie who’s burnt out on ceiling voids and overnight breakdowns, that’s the pitch. Same trade, same money, sociable hours, better customers.

Two people we’d be glad to hear from

If you’ve been doing this fifteen years — you’ll be given all ranges of work straight away and no one standing over you,



with the addition of an apprentice to train if this is something you'd be interested in. If you already know beer systems, even better; you’d be one of a very small number of people in Sydney who does.

If you came off the tools as a qualified tech in the last year or two — you’re not too green for us. We are happy to train someone. You’d start working with a senior tech and work up as you pick up the beer side.

You’ll need

- Cert III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
- Current NSW driver’s licence (manual preferred)
- The judgement to work unsupervised in someone else’s venue

Nice to have, but genuinely not essential

- Beer reticulation, glycol system experience. If you’ve got it, great. If you haven’t, we’ll train you — that’s how most of our team learned it. A valuable commercial refrigeration tech picks up beer systems quickly.
