The First Aid and Administration Officer at Elevation Secondary College will proactively deliver the First Aid program for the whole College including the planning and maintenance of the First Aid room, point of need support for students and the planning of health needs for students within the school. The First Aid and Administration Officer will also support the administrative function of the school office. The First Aid and Administration officer will support educational programs within the school such as immunisation and the delivery of health curricula via assemblies and the Personal Development Program.

The position of the First Aid and Administration Officer requires the attendance of 8:30am-4:36pm, Monday-Friday. Flexible, part-time negotiable.

Please note, if the successful candidate holds an AQF level 7 qualification (e.g. Registered Nurse), a salary range review will be undertaken.

Key responsibilities

Deal with students first aid needs

Maintain first aid room with adequate and in date supplies

Handle medication administration to students

Where required, prepare incident reports and enter onto Edusafe and/or Worksafe

Communicate to the College staff in relation to the medical requirements/needs of students with health related action plans

Prepare, plan and ensure all first aid action plans are kept up to date

Ensure staff awareness of action plans

Order and ensure all first aid supplies and medication where needed is fully stocked and in date

Organise first aid for events, camps and excursions

Maintain school first aid kits

Trained EpiPen verifier - training available

Meet OHS compliance requirements

Elevation Secondary College is an evidence-based school in Melbourne's booming Northern growth corridor. Situated approximately 23 kilometers from Melbourne, we service the rapidly growing and aspirational communities of the Aston and Highlands Estates in Craigieburn, Greenvale and further North to Mickleham. We first opened our doors in 2020, to a purpose built, state of the art educational facility with a Science, Technology and Arts building,



as well as a general-purpose Learning Community building, Administration Centre and Library. In 2026 our school has grown to over 1300 students from Year 7-12 and we celebrated our inaugural graduating class in December 2025.

Key Selection Criteria:

SC1 Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum, including the ability to incorporate the teaching of literacy and numeracy skills. Demonstrated experience in responding to student learning needs.

SC2 Demonstrated experience in planning for and implementing high impact teaching strategies, guided by how students learn, and evaluating the impact of learning and teaching programs on student learning growth.

SC3 Demonstrated experience in monitoring and assessing student learning. Demonstrated experience in using data to inform teaching practice and providing feedback on student learning growth and achievement to students and parents.

SC4 Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated experience in establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships with students, parents, colleagues and the broader school community to support student learning, agency, wellbeing and engagement.

SC5 Demonstrated behaviours and attitudes consistent with Department values. Demonstrated experience in reflecting upon practice and engaging in professional learning to continually improve the quality of teaching.





SC6 Outstanding professional and personal attributes including perseverance, humility, collaboration and an improvement focus. The ability to balance high expectations of all learners with inclusivity and positive education practices.
