Company Description Hobart Podiatrists & Footwear is a busy, established, and well regarded podiatry practice based in Hobart, Tasmania, within a stunning, spacious, building and includes a loyal, warm and friendly team.

The practice provides comprehensive podiatry services for people of all ages, with a strong focus on biomechanical assessment and treatment of foot, ankle, gait, and related lower limb disorders. An onsite retail footwear store offers podiatry-approved, supportive, comfortable, and orthotic-friendly footwear to clients and the wider community.

The team works closely with a broad network of health professionals, including general practitioners, orthopedic surgeons, pediatricians, rheumatologists, sports physicians, physiotherapists, and exercise physiologists. Practitioners are AHPRA-registered podiatrists and active members of the Australian Podiatry Association.

Role Description

SALARY $100,000 - $135,000.00 PLUS 12% superannuation (pro rata) dependent on experience.

This Podiatrist role is flexible part-time, between 2-4 days per week and is in office in Hobart, TAS. Whilst an experienced Podiatrist is preferred, mature, confident new graduates should also apply for this practice offers great learning opportunities.

The role involves providing high level clinical podiatry care, including biomechanical assessments, diagnosis, and management of foot, ankle, gait, and lower limb conditions for a diverse patient population.

Daily responsibilities include conducting thorough patient consultations, developing evidence-based treatment plans,



prescribing and implementing orthotic and footwear solutions, and coordinating care with other health professionals.

The Podiatrist will also support the integration of clinical recommendations with the onsite footwear store, contribute to clinical decision-making within the team, and help maintain high standards of professional practice and patient experience. Participation in ongoing professional development and adherence to relevant clinical guidelines and regulatory requirements are expected.

Qualifications

- Current registration as a Podiatrist with AHPRA and eligibility to practice in Australia.
- Demonstrated clinical expertise in biomechanical assessment, gait analysis, and management of complex foot, ankle, and lower limb conditions.
- Experience in orthotic prescription, footwear assessment, and providing practical footwear advice in a clinical or retail-supported environment.
- Strong skills in patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and delivery of evidence-based podiatry interventions.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with medical and allied health professionals and contribute to multidisciplinary care.
- Team player, with well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on inclusive, person-centered care across all ages.
- Commitment to professional development, clinical governance, and adherence to ethical and regulatory standards.
- Previous experience in private practice is highly regarded.
