The Team:
OurStrategy andPerformanceImprovementteam isfocused onstrategy,performance improvement, and operational restructuring tooptimiseclients’ financial performance and sustainability. Wedeliver enhanced commercial outcomes, optimise coststructuresand balance sheets, and ensure sustainable value creation through strategic insight and rigorous financial analysis. Leveraging deep industry insight, we work senior executives to build confidence in decisions that strengthen their financial performance and sustainability.
TheOpportunity:
OurStrategy and Performance Improvement teamis growing, we are seeking an experiencedconsulting professionalsatthe Director level,bringing strategy and performanceimprovementexpertise.Thesuccessful candidate shouldbe someone whobringsstrong strategic,commercialand financial acumen, who is comfortable across multiple sectors, and ready to work collaboratively as part of a high performing team to grow the business and deliver value for clients.
As a Director,you will lead teams and collaborate with clients across a range of industries to develop and deliver impactful engagements from strategicoperating modelreviews through to delivery of operational and financial performance improvement solutions, including:
PerformanceOptimisation & Value Creation
Identify, quantify, and present revenue uplift, cost reduction, productivity, and margin improvement opportunities, and translating them intorobust business cases.
Strategy Development
Collaborate with senior executive leaders to defineanorganisation’s strategic vision anddirection anddevelop thestrategic plan to achieve it.
Target Operating Model Design
Design future-state operating models aligned to strategy, covering organisation, processes, governance, and service delivery.
Implementation & Benefits Realisation
Develop practical implementation roadmaps, track financial benefits,
and support execution ofFinancial andPerformance Optimisationchangesfor clients.
Business Development
Work with our leadership to grow the practice by contributing to business development,proposalsand practice initiatives.
Engage with Stakeholders
Work collaboratively with stakeholderswhich may include senior Federal/State leadersto design and deliverworkshops, presentations, and reports.
Learn and Grow
Work closely with senior colleagues todeepenyour consulting skills, industry knowledge, and professional confidence.
You bring a combination of:
Significant experiencewithin a Tier 1, boutique or mid-tier consulting practice in organisational strategy, financial advisory, or transformation roles– specificallystrategy,targetoperatingmodel design and financial performance improvement engagements.
Ability to structure ambiguous problems into clear hypotheses,rigorousanalysisand actionable recommendations.
Demonstrated ability to lead complex engagements and manage senior client relationships.
Strong financial analysis and business case modelling skills, including revenue, cost, productivity, and benefits realisation.
Experience assessing and redesigning operating models, covering organisation structure, processes, governance, and service delivery.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate insights into compelling executive narratives that influence critical decisions.
Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous, and change-driven environments.
Capable of leading proposalsand business development initiatives,identifyingnewengagement opportunities, nurturing clientrelationshipsand thought leadership pieces.
Ability to coach and develop more junior staff.
