About the role

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join our project team and support the delivery of major infrastructure works. This role will be responsible for managing project procurement activities, including sourcing, product analysis, purchasing of services and supplies, supplier engagement, inventory control, and procurement reporting in line with project requirements.

As the Procurement Manager, you will ensure all goods and services purchased meet the relevant technical standards and comply with project quality, time, financial, safety and environmental requirements, as well as VINCI policies. This role will work closely with senior corporate and project management, suppliers, subcontractors, internal stakeholders, and the broader project team to support effective procurement outcomes.

This is an exciting site-based opportunity for a procurement professional with strong analytical, commercial and leadership capability to contribute to large-scale infrastructure projects with a respected international contractor. Ideally, the successful candidate will reside locally; however, interstate candidates will also be considered.





Key responsibilities

- Manage project procurement activities, including sourcing, purchasing, supplier engagement and inventory control in line with project requirements.
- Provide detailed analytical procurement reporting to senior corporate and project management.
- Manage the Project Procurement Status Report and provide regular updates on procurement progress, risks and requirements.
- Lead and support a small team of procurement personnel, including assigning and delegating work according to project priorities.
- Provide detailed handover and guidance to the Project Management Team regarding proposed procurement strategies.
- Assist with the development of tender document responses, detailed management plans and estimating team requirements.
- Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors and internal stakeholders to achieve the best possible procurement outcomes in line with Spiecapag tender approval requirements.
- Support project teams with procurement requirements as needed to ensure project delivery, compliance and operational efficiency.

About you
- Minimum eight years’ experience in purchasing, buying or a related procurement role within heavy construction or infrastructure, preferably within pipeline construction.




- Robust analytical capability with experience preparing detailed procurement reports and progress updates.
- Practical experience using ERP systems, preferably Si Compta or a similar system.
- Strong financial, negotiation and change management skills.
- Experience with estimation costing, planning and working to project budgets.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to support, guide and delegate work within a small procurement team.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with suppliers, subcontractors and internal project teams.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a strong commitment to safety, quality, compliance and project outcomes.
- Successful candidate will reside locally; however, interstate candidates will also be considered.
