BIG is looking for a Product Owner to take the reins on one of our internal systems and not just manage it, but truly own it. This is a system you'll get to know inside out, shape, and steer, with the freedom to bring your own ideas to the table and see them through.

You'll turn business needs into user stories, interactive prototypes and working solutions, keeping priorities clear and stakeholders informed along the way. We've moved past static mock-ups, so comfort using AI tools to bring concepts to life quickly is a big plus.

This role thrives on collaboration. You'll work closely with our QA and Product Analyst and report to our IT & Projects Manager, bouncing ideas around and problem solving together.

It's well suited to someone already working as a Product Owner who's ready to take full ownership of a system end to end, and who genuinely enjoys being the driving force behind it.

This is a flexible, hybrid role. We're not fussed about set office days, we just want you in every now and then for training, collaboration and to help develop the wider team.

What You'll Do:

Product Ownership & Prioritisation

- Own and maintain the product backlog
- Prioritise work based on business value, effort, risk and strategic objectives
- Support roadmap planning and product delivery initiatives
- Work with stakeholders to evaluate and prioritise recent requests
- Ensure development teams are working on the highest-value initiatives

Requirements & Business Analysis

- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder sessions




- Gather and document business requirements
- Create user stories and acceptance criteria
- Produce process maps and workflow diagrams
- Build interactive prototypes for feedback and handover, using AI tools where useful
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation and simplification

Agile Delivery

- Facilitate sprint planning
- Facilitate backlog refinement sessions
- Coordinate sprint reviews and retrospectives
- Support UAT activities and stakeholder sign-off
- Assist with release planning and business readiness activities

Stakeholder Engagement

- Act as the primary point of contact for product requests
- Manage stakeholder expectations
- Communicate delivery progress and priorities
- Coordinate feedback throughout the development lifecycle

Release & Continuous Improvement

- Support release governance activities
- Coordinate change communication and user readiness
- Assist with release notes and training requirements
- Identify opportunities to improve how products are delivered
